âïļ Settings
Open Settings from the Ludus plugin panel to manage account access, persistent agent rules, indexing quarantine, and local data reset.
Manage Your Accountâ
Plan, credits, and billing are managed in the web app, not inside the plugin. In Settings, use Open Web App under Manage Your Account to open app.ludusengine.com. See Web App Interface and Plans & Billing.
Custom Rulesâ
Custom Rules is a free-text field for persistent project conventions. Ludus sends it as a separate message at the start of every new conversation.
Use it for rules you want on every chat, for example preferred languages (C++ vs Blueprint), naming conventions, or folder layout. Changes save when you leave the field.
Quarantine (Skipped assets)â
If an asset crashes indexing or Ludus cannot process it, Ludus puts that asset in quarantine. Quarantined assets are listed in Settings as Skipped assets and are ignored on later indexing passes so one bad asset does not block the rest of the project.
A modal may appear when assets fail to index. Dismissing it does not clear the list; the assets stay quarantined.
Quarantine lasts until either:
- You clear it in Settings with Clear and retry (Ludus retries indexing those assets), or
- You update the plugin (a version bump clears quarantine so indexing can try again).
Fix or remove the underlying asset if retries keep failing.
Factory Resetâ
Factory Reset under Clear all local data deletes all local Ludus data for this install and restores the plugin to its original state. You are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Use it only as a last resort when local state is unrecoverable. Prefer Re-index project or clearing skipped assets first when the problem is indexing.
Related controlsâ
Tool approval modes and always-approved asset paths also live in Settings. See Approvals & Safety. Project Documents are covered in Project Documents.
