Model Usage differences
It's crucial to know which model to use for which task and not rely solely on the most expensive and most advanced Ludus Agent. Understanding the different models available in Ludus AI is key to effectively using the platform. Each model is optimized for specific types of tasks and varies in speed and credit consumption per query or task.
Ludus Liteβ
The Ludus Lite model is our fastest and most budget-friendly, typically using approximately 4-50 credits per query. It's best suited for simple questions, quick definitions, Unreal Engine knowledge and basic concept explanations.
Ludus Fullβ
For more complex queries, troubleshooting, and in-depth guidance, the Ludus Full model is recommended, typically costing 50-200 credits per query. It operates at a standard speed with improved context awareness.
Ludus Agentβ
The most advanced model is the Ludus Agent, designed for complex tasks including utilizing specialized toolkits and 3D model generation. Agent tasks average around 300-700 credits per query, with speed varying based on task complexity. While powerful, the Agent is not intended for generating highly complex models like entire maps or environments.
What influences consumption?β
Long conversationsβ
Credit usage can increase in longer conversations. As Ludus AI analyzes the prior context for each new query, credit consumption may scale beyond the typical ranges mentioned. To optimize your credit use, we recommend starting a new chat when beginning a new topic or task. This same principle applies when initiating new 3D objects or blueprint tasks with the Ludus Agent.
Huge blocks of text or codeβ
Ludus may not be able to correctly or optimally process, for example, the entire game system or tens of thousands of lines of code. Attempts to do so may cost an extremely large amount of credits and the results of such actions - will not always be satisfactory or even feasible.
